The big red truck: mobilising Milwaukee’s marketing force
SDI'S CHALLENGE: To transform Milwaukee’s articulated lorry into a product showcase on wheels
We were appointed by Milwaukee to design, manufacture and kit out an articulated lorry to display their range of tools and accessories. Milwaukee’s plan was to increase brand awareness and take their products to the people by driving the truck to trade shows across Europe.
The challenge for us was to create a merchandising solution that allows the tools to be accessible to Milwaukee’s audience when the vehicle is stationary but secure while in transit. Plus, from design to installation, we had just eight weeks to complete the project before the lorry went out on its travels for the first time.
